Keir Starmer’s recognition of Palestine is a whitewashing of his complicity in genocide.

While he makes hollow announcements, Israeli fighter jets continue to bomb, starve, and bury Palestinians alive.

Starmer’s government earlier this year banned Palestine Action, one of the only groups in the UK taking direct action against Israeli weapons manufacturers.

For the recognition of Palestinian statehood to have any meaning, the UK should withdraw support and aid in the dismantling of the Israeli apartheid state.
