Resetting password doesn't work
Requesting a password reset doesn't work as it sends users to the login page instead of the reset password page.

IOS app crashing
We are currently investigating an issue where the IOS app crashes afterh the "+" icon was pressed to publish a photo.

With today's iOS app release, we have temporarily reverted to Apple's native gallery picker as a fix for the crashing issue that many of you are still experiencing.

EXIF data not being preserved
The maximum size for images stored in PortraitMode is now 2200 pixels in either width or height. Photos larger than these dimensions will be resized, and there is currently an issue where the EXIF data is being removed during the resizing process. This information cannot be recovered and we will update this page as soon as the issue is resolved.

We were able to fix this issue and the EXIF data for resized photos will be preserved moving forward.

App issues
We are currently working on fixing an issue with expired refresh tokens that's causing the app to not work for some users, and also we are aware of a problem with selecting photos from the media library and we're working to fix it as soon as possible.

Scheduled maintenance
We are going to have another scheduled maintenance at 2pm CEST today on August 19th, 2022. The maintenance is scheduled to take roughly 2 hours as we are going to work on the PortraitMode server & configuration.

Performance issue
We are currently investigating a performance issue that occurs on the "Home" & "Featured" page after a new photo was added to PortraitMode.

The issue has been resolved. We have rewritten parts of the PortraitMode platform to optimize database queries. This resulted in a major performance boost across all pages. Thank you for your patience.
