35mm film

A fire performer raises both arms into a crown of flames during Halloween night at Avant Garden in Houston. Shot on Kodak Tri-X 400 pushed two stops to ISO 1600 with the Canon T90 and FD 135mm f/2.8. The fire becomes the primary light source, illuminating the performer's face and arms while everything else disappears into deep black.
