Code Red

Red grabs attention like no other color. A jacket cutting through a gray crowd, a stop sign glowing in the rain, a single umbrella in a sea of black, or a frame completely flooded with crimson. One color can turn an ordinary moment into a striking photo.

For this competition, we’re looking for photographs that explore the color red in any way you see it.

Think bold accents, red as the subject, dominant color fields, neon glow, unexpected pops of red, or simply a scene where red creates something compelling.

Rules

• One photo per participant
• The photograph must clearly depict the color red
• Photos must follow all our submission guidelines

Voting & submission

The submission period and voting period are separate. You can submit one photo during the submission period, after which voting begins.

Each member receives 100 points to allocate across submissions in increments of 5. Points can be given to one photo or distributed across multiple photos, and can be reallocated at any time before voting closes.

The three submissions with the highest point totals at the end of the voting period are declared the winners.
