App Update 1.11.38

We’ve been heads down for the past few weeks working on both, the apps and website. Version 1.11.38 is rolling out now on iOS and Android.

Let’s dive in.

Sign in with Google

You can now sign in – or link your existing account – with Google. One tap, no more digging through your password manager or entering all your details manually when signing up for a PortraitMode account.

Badges & achievements

This was long overdue, but: membership badges now show up on profiles, comments, and feeds in the app.

Also, if one of your shots got featured, landed Photo of the Month or Photo of the Day, that badge now lives right on the photo detail screen.

Blog comments are here

You can now comment on and reply to blog posts from right within the app. Got thoughts on the update? Drop them below.

To keep things friendly, you can now delete other peoples comments from your own photos. Your photo, your rules.

A cleaner first impression

We’ve reworked the onboarding flow with a more polished, restructured layout. The guideline cards are clearer and the whole thing just flows better. First impressions matter, and we wanted new members to feel that from the very first screen.
