I don't know if the gentleman is the head of the orchestra, but if I were to ask, he would definitely be. His slogan can be "I'm not a criminal, but I'm Tony Soprano in the orchestra".
And today's guest of the series "My place, my people" is Nemanja Jovanović Jogi. His biography and track in basketball are fascinating. Nemanja, like most of his peers, first started training football, but soon turned to basketball, which he always believed in. Even when basketball was played at Željino, he constantly set tactics and organized his teammates. He is an advocate of education and was always an excellent student and someone who loved school and books. He graduated from the Higher Coaching School and then the DIF. Basketball was always moving and nothing came overnight. From Lajkovac to Belgrade, and then as a head coach in Denmark, Spain and Sweden, he showed and proved his skills, which eventually launched him in the USA, which had always been his goal. The man who recognized Nemanja's potential and knowledge is former American basketball player and coach Larry Brown, who called him to be his associate. This is only an introduction and a prelude to a more detailed biography that is planned for the paper edition. Thanks to Yogi for the trust shown.
My guest today is Nikola Ranković Niksi, born in 1988. Nikola is a young private individual who has had the desire to try his hand at the leather trade since he was a child. At the moment when he started beautifying the interior of cars as well as making completely new ones, many dissuaded him from doing so under the pretext that he would replace the electronics with a sewing machine. Since 2011, Niksi has been the owner of the @autostylelajkovac workshop, and today his engineers can be seen at the owners of expensive cars. Nikola is another in a line of people who believed in himself and his dreams. I would like to thank Nikola for his cooperation and participation in the series "My place, my people" and I believe that it will be an inspiration to many who are hesitant to go in search of their own dreams. Everything is possible when you want. From the series "My place, my people".
From the series "My place - my people". Monk and Bishop Dositej Hilandarac was born in Ljig in 1971 to father Miroslav and mother Nada. He spent his childhood in the village of Slavkovica, and finished elementary school in Ljig in 1986. After completing elementary school, he graduated from the Military High School in Belgrade. During his studies at the Military High School, he often visits the Vavedenje monastery, which is located in the middle of the school, where he acquires basic knowledge about monastic life. He continues his further education at the Military Academy of the RV and PVO in Rajlovac, but due to the war, the Military Academy was transferred to Belgrade, where he continues and completes his education. He joined the brotherhood of the Serbian Lavra Nemanjić, Hilandar Monastery, in 1998 as a novice and was ordained a monk in 2000. With the blessing of the Council of Elders of the Hilandar Monastery, he begins his extramural studies at the Theological Faculty of the University of Belgrade. After that, he enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Theological Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The master's thesis on dogmatics about the name of God in Russian theology of the 20th century was successfully defended in January 2010 in Thessaloniki. Today it is located in the monastery of the Holy Great Martyr Georgi in the town of Čelije near Lajkovac. In a pleasant conversation lasting several hours, he told me about his plans to restore the hostel, the monastery and the brotherhood. I would like to thank Father Dositej for the trust shown and the conversation.
And the guest of the series "My place, my people" is the young Schneider, Maria, who, among other things, is the owner of the tailor shop @mariola_sewingstudio. In addition to this job, which she loves immensely, her love is focused on running and karate. Her tailoring works have graced many girls and the best is yet to come. In a small community like Lajkovac, she decided to restore this old and above all beautiful craft to its old glory and gave people the option to get their own unique pieces of clothing in a sea of strange fashion. Thank you Maria for your trust. From the series "My place, my people".
Disinfecting the streets during the Covid-19 virus pandemic was a very stupid idea. On the truck it says Bolid, and that has several meanings, one of which is fool. In this frame, everything is set.
We often flirt with death, but life must win.
The festival in Lajkovac for Ognjena Maria is slowly turning into anticipation of whether Goci will perform or not. The rest is less important. While one part of the people was listening to Peđa Jovanović in the square, some others were rejoicing in chadors. And this little cousin was looking for his piece of bread around the tent. Showing him the photo, he said: "Brother, this is a picture." And it is. A smile stretched out like a harmonica, a happy expression on the face and let's move on. Long live bro and may luck follow you.
