Thanksgiving morning in Pioneer Square - Seattle. The day was quiet and cold. Thankful for another year.
The Yearly gathering for the cherry blossoms aligned with Spring Equinox. The sun came out after what seems months of clouds and my nose was clogged from all the pollen. All was good.

Chop house row is a very unique space in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The void created by high density development left a big void in this block that was used to create this magnificent example of urban infill. You enter the back side of Chop House Row through a small door way that is easily overlooked but really opens up to an aged open concrete arcade. Rusty steel and rough concrete columns welcome you through this alleyway into a grand courtyard that is home to the friendliest bike shop @goodweather and tailwind cafe ( they have breakfast tacos :)) they is also a handful of small businesses that I suggest visiting on your day off. If you visit or live in Seattle be sure to add this to your list. This alley takes you to a different place away from the noise and the rumbles of the city.
