Everyday life of everyday people.

He rows through the tides of the Hooghly, ferrying stories and strangers with each stroke of his oar.

Once the grand Chowringhee Hotel, this iconic building still carries the charm of old Kolkata. It’s a beautiful reminder of a bygone era, blending history with the pulse of modern life. If walls could talk, imagine the stories they’d tell!

Metro Cinema in Kolkata, an iconic theater established in 1935 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), has undergone a remarkable transformation from a colonial-era movie palace to a contemporary cultural landmark.
